The question of which weight loss diet is the best reminds one of an old children’s bedtime story. The fairly tale goes on about a self-infatuated, envious queen mother who had in her possession a magic mirror. The mirror could tell the most beautiful.

    Low Fat Foods DON'T WORK.

Also, programs such as Jenny Craig usually involve buying special meals and/or dietary supplements during the initial phases of the program.     The best, healthiest, and long-term diet & exercise plan is eating properly and exercising regularly. This means following your country's food guide. Generally, they recommend 8-10 servings of fruits and vegetables a day (one serving being half a cup); 1 to 2 of meat & eggs, including soy products (one serving about the size of your fist or one egg); 6 to 12 of grains, choosing whole grains over white bread products (one serving is one slice of bread); 2 to 4 of dairy (one serving being about a cup). In terms of exercise, aim for at least 20 minutes of exercise a day that gets your heart rate up – i.e., jogging, running up stairs, brisk walking, etc.
