Are All Energy Drinks Created Equal?
In today’s busy society, many people find themselves in front of the energy drink aisle trying to figure out which product will best fit their needs. There are drinks which offer 4 hours of energy and there are drinks which offer 8 hours. There are coffee flavored drinks and there are fruit flavored drinks. Anything you could possibly want is out on the shelves. So here is the hard part, which energy drink is the best for your body?
Well, many energy drinks on the market today are loaded with caffeine, sugar, and a plethora of other unrecognizable ingredients. Is that something that you want to be putting in your body? Certainly not. The way I see it, if you don’t know what’s in the drink, don’t drink it. Also look at the calories. Many of these drinks will have an exponential amount of calories due to all of the sugar. The caffeine levels are also often unhealthy. Some energy drinks have as much as 300 milligrams of caffeine. That is even more caffeine than the daily recommended dosage. Because these drinks are so rich in caffeine and sugar they often lead the consumer to experience upset stomach, leg weakness, nervousness, difficulty concentrating, problem sleeping, and an abrupt energy crash. So are there any better energy drink alternatives out there today?
The answer is yes. Some companies are making energy drinks which offer fewer calories, less sugar, less caffeine, and more necessary vitamins and minerals. These drinks provide a healthy boost in energy, mood, and focus without the much anticipated crash. They often provide you with a list of ingredients that you actually understand and agree with. The creation of an energy drink was all about the hype at first, but now it is all about health. So the next time you are out there trying to find the perfect energy lift, try a healthier energy drink.

You've answered your own question – It's not that the Americans need us, it's that we need them.
Britain's position as the conduit between the Euro zone and America affords us an influence, (albeit a small one) that is desirable.
Certainly, Sarkozy is trying to usurp it, so presumably there are attendant benefits.
As for trying to solve our economic problems in an insular manner, we must recognise that finance is a global game, therefore the only viable solutions require global trade and investment, just as is so for global warming, pandemics and conflagrations.
